Theo has been in practice and part of the East London community for the past 22 years. He has the Eastern Cape in his genes as he grew up and went to school in King Williams Town (Qonce). Theo completed his Bacculareus Optometriae at RAU in 1999 and became a fellow of the Optometric Association of South Africa on completion of this degree.
Theo has achieved an Advanced Certificate in Sports Vision from RAU and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Ocular Disease and Diagnostic Pharmaceuticals from the GIO. He also has an accredited certificate for Diabetic Retinopathy Screening from OSSA.

Policy dictates that all candidates for the Skipper Coastal and Offshore ≥9m are required to pass the prescribes SAMS tests carried out a specific SAMSA offices. All other candidates attempting the examinations can provide an eye test certificate issues by us, a member of the South African Medical Association.
